The 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Guild of Medical Ringers was held on Saturday 22nd November in the City of London. As it was the London University anniversary meeting that day it had been very difficult to obtain towers, and we were especially grateful to Geraldine for all her hard work in obtaining towers for us all.
A quarter peal of 1260 Grandsire Triples was successfully rung at St Mary, Hendon during the morning.
Members than made their way to the 6 of St Vedast, Forster Lane for ringing from 2-2.45pm. We had a fair walk then to our final tower of the day the 8 of St. Stephen, Rochester Way. Ringing was followed by a very brief business meeting held in the tower. We then had a walk in the dark and the rain, which had continued through much of the day but had not dampened our spirits.
Dinner was at the Morpeth Arms, 58 Millbank SW1P 4RW overlooking the Thames. A short Business meeting was held to elect new members and update members on the 2026 Summer meeting. Twenty-two then sat to an early meal, before we made our way back around the country.
